Who are South Side Steppers?South Side Steppers ATL, LLC is a limited liability corporation operating within the line dance community with a strong emphasis on our dance classes and public service events.

What type of classes are taught?We currently teach beginner to beginner/intermediate line dances every Thursday night at Grown Folks Bar and Grill located at 5495 Old National Highway, College Park, GA. 30349. Classes starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 9:00 pm. Cost is $7.00 per person. There is a two-item minimum for food and/or beverages.

What are your COVID Protocols?SSS supports the protocols established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services as well as the Georgia Center for Disease Control as it relates to Covid and other infectious diseases. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged. Sanitizing agents are available for hand washings.

How do I join SSS?The requirements of membership include commitment, willingness and a positive outlook. The primary goal is to have fun. If you mess up, catch up. If you fall off the wagon, get back on and ride! There is an annual membership intake drive to invite friends and guests to join our organization. Currently, the non-refundable application fee is $25. Please see any member of SSS for details about the membership intake process.

What events are sponsored by SSS?SSS primary event is our bi-annual Anniversary Celebration! This is four-day event. Our next Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for July 28 – July 31, 2022. THE THEME IS: A FANTASTIC VOYAGE! Celebration includes: Thursday – ALL WHITE PARTY Nauti in White Friday – HAVANA NIGHT Sailing with a Cuban Flair Saturday Afternoon – Classes Saturday Night – THE PURPLE AND WHITE CAPTAIN’S DINNER & DANCE Highlights of Dinner and Dance: · Announcement of Scholarship winners · Public Service Presentation · Formal dinner · Line Dancing to smooth sounds of Avery Dixon, Saxophonist from 6:30pm – 8:30pm · Endless line dancing with DJs from 8:30pm until ALL OF THIS FOR THE LOW PRICE OF $135! NO REFUNDS except for national, regional or local natural and/or health disasters. A LA CARTE Pricing available for individual activities. DOUBLE GOOD DELICIOUS POPCORN FUNDRAISER!SSS conducts 2 fundraisers each year to support our Scholarship funds. Your support of these fundraisers provide scholarship for students associated with our line dance community as they pursue higher education and learning. Look for announcements of our store openings from SSS members and in all of our Social Media platforms.

How is SSS engaged in community involvement?In SSS, dancing is what we do. However, dancing is not ALL we do! SSS has an extensive public service program that allows our members to give of their time and passion of dance to bring about smiles, joy and excitement to our senior citizens and youth of our community. In addition, SSS partners with the Riverdale Town Center and the City of Fayetteville Town Center to participate to provide positive energy and activities for its citizens designed to provide a positive influence within our community. Our involvement includes performing showcases at community events, volunteering to assist with youth activities, parades, breast cancer walks, showcases at senior citizens and nursing homes, Thanksgiving food giveaways, Holiday toy drives and much more!
